Rubber Plantation Kamalpur

Under the Tribal rehabilitation program for settling of the Jhum (shifting Cultivators) a rubber plantation has been set up near the town of Kamalpur. Initially due to the inherent nature of the tribals the entire plantation used to be abandoned within six months. Toady Kamalpur plantation is one of the prime examples of a successful settlement of the shifting cultivators.

Dhumala Waterfall

Dhumala waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Tripura it is located near the town of Khowai one has to drive to the village of Purba Rangpur and then take an uphill hike to the falls. The waterfall has a small pool at the bottom.

Sanaiya Waterfalls

The place has green and soothing natural beauty panoramic view of Kamalpur valley from a hilltop adjoining Bangladesh Border makes a pleasant site. The village, consisting of Upper and Lower Sanaiya Reang Para is the habitat of Reang tribes. The centre of attraction is a waterfall located in a gorge providing a unique place as a tourist attraction. The location is hilly based out with rain forest with occasional clearance for jhum cultivation. The natural wilderness with panoramic view tops and perennial fast flowing springs make the area an ideal location for rural tourism centre.
