Buddha Park

The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, houses a beautiful statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. The colossal statue is clearly visible from some parts of West Sikkim. The park area is attractively designed to create ample walkways, gardens, and space for visitors to enjoy its peaceful surroundings. The views of the mountains and the spiritual ambiance of the location add to the visitor experience. You can also visit the museum, meditation centre, and the Buddhist conclave in Buddha Park.

Rabong Kunphenling Tsechu Monastery

Rabong Kunphenling Tsechu Monastery - This monastery belongs to Nyingmapa Sect and was founded by Ngagpa Lobzang Tenpo Lama in 1972 within the area of Tibetan Settlement Camp at Rabongla, South Sikkim.It has been rebuilt recently with Government aid with maximum participation by its followers residing in the Camp. H.H. Dalai Lama also blessed this monastery in 2005.


Doling Monastery

Doling Monastery is located on a small hillock, about 6 kms southward from Rabongla bazaar. Lama Rigdzin Longyang founded this monastery in the year 1718. A.D. The Mongol ruler Junggar’s invasion of Tibet in 1717 - 1718. A.D. led to the persecution of Nyingmapa Sect and in this terror- stricken situation, some  Nyingmapa Saints left Tibet and took asylum in the southern lands and established this monastery.


Seven Mirror Lake

Seven Mirror Lake – A group of small lakes near the Doling Monastery, which have earned the sobriquet of Seven Mirror simply because of reflection of the mountains and monastery on the surface of the lake. More over are you approach the area the water shines like mirror on a bright shiny day.

Kunpheling Tibetan Settlement

Kunpheling Tibetan Settlement – One of the largest Tibetan settlements in the State of Sikkim. The settlement is spread around Kunphenling Tsechu Monastery Rabong town.
