Pasighat is one of the oldest and important towns of Arunachal Pradesh; the town is famous for its picturesque beauty and tranquil surroundings, alluring a lot of travelers to this place. Pasighat boasts of a number of tourist spots including Daying Ering Sanctuary, which is home to wild elephants, smaller predators, deer, and several migratory birds such as hornbills, storks, wild ducks, and cranes.

Siang River

The valleys and tributaries of Siang River are home to the Adi people of Arunachal Pradesh. The Siang River offers ample opportunities for adventure sports like river rafting, angling, and trekking. A hanging bridge on the Siang River is an interesting sight to behold.

Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary

This sanctuary and a couple of other facilities (school, hospital) in Pasighat are named after Dr. D. Ering. Over 25% of the sanctuary is covered with water bodies and hence attracts many migratory birds from Mongolia and Siberia. The sanctuary itself is surrounded by the Siang River (Brahmaputra). The sanctuary is also home to many endangered species of birds.

Sirki Waterfall

It is located at a distance of approx 10 km from Pasighat, it is a must-visit to enjoy the adventurous trek and witness the marvel of nature.

Ellam Textile Industry Centre

Arunachal’s first fully mechanized textile industry established near saw mill area in Pasighat. Visitors can see the process of manufacturing and also buy tribal ethnic garments and other textile products like curtains, bed sheets, towels, wrap-round’s etc.
